MKS DET Power Outage Detecting and Power Monitor Module for MKS TFT Touch Screen Display
This MKS 220DET is primarily designed to be integrated alongside the MKS TFT28 Display that to create beautiful prints without ever wasting valuable time, effort or 3D Filament. Additionally, while some power out protection systems simply stop the print where it is and saves the print data to continue later.
The MKS 220DET utilises the functionality of the MKS TFT Display Modules to actually move the print head away from the print as well. This prevents the common problem of the extremely hot nozzle burning a small black mark into the print, and while this may seem like a small benefit for some, for those who strive for perfect prints, even a small black burn mark can essentially ruin a perfectly good print.
How it Works:
- When Power outage detected, UPS connected to a 220V power. Outage detection module signal output terminal(Three pins)Connect to MKS TFT. (PB0 -> B0 Gnd -> - 3.3V -> +).
- At sudden power failure, UPS still can give the printer power outage detection modules power information to MKS TFT.
- MKS TFT received power information so that the printer will automatically enter a suspended state, and the print head away from the model, so as not to damage the model.
- MKS TFT itself has power continued to play function, but suddenly when power can only save printing status, you can not move the print head, will continue to play when you leave blemishes. Continued use of power-play module and UPS can solve this problem and UPS only need to run about 1 minute for the UPS requirements are not very high.
Caution: The module will generate 220V voltage when input the module, please prepare good protection.
