This is a Strain Gauge Bending Sensor Module Y3 Weighing Amplifier Module. A strain gauge is a device used to measure strain on an object. This strain gauge module uses the strain gauge BF350-3AA, it has an onboard amplifier and potentiometer to adjust the measured results A Strain gauge is a sensor whose resistance varies with applied force; It converts force, pressure, tension, weight, etc., into a change in electrical resistance which can then be measured A strain gauge works on the principle of electrical conductance and its dependence on the conductor's geometry. Whenever a conductor is stretched within the limits of its elasticity, it doesn't break but, gets narrower and longer.

Features:

  1. Two tubes of reverse protection ~ (to prevent the power supply from connected to the back)
  2. On board with a blue LED power indicator
  3. Analog output
  4. The higher the bending degree, the higher the output voltage
  5. Zero potentiometer
  6. Can be used to adjust the output voltage of the starting voltage

Packages Includes:

1 x Strain Gauge Bending Sensor Module

Setup Guide

1
Identify the pins
Locate VCC (power), GND (ground), and data pins (SDA/SCL for I2C, MOSI/MISO for SPI, or TX/RX for UART). Refer to the pinout diagram on the product page.
2
Wire to your microcontroller
Connect VCC to 3.3V or 5V (check the module spec), GND to GND, and data pins to the appropriate GPIO pins on your Arduino or Raspberry Pi.
3
Install libraries
In Arduino IDE, go to Sketch → Include Library → Manage Libraries and search for the sensor library. Install the recommended version.
4
Upload example sketch
Open File → Examples → [library name] → Basic Example. Upload to your board and open Serial Monitor to view output.
5
Calibrate if needed
Some sensors (temperature, humidity, distance) may need a short warm-up period or calibration. Run the calibration sketch if provided.
