This is TEXAS INSTRUMENTS LAUNCHXL-RM42 Development Board, RM42x, Hercules Launchpad, USB powered, on board XDS100v2 J-TAG emulator. The LAUNCHXL-RM42 LaunchPad is an inexpensive evaluation platform based on Hercules RM42L432, which is a dual-core ARM Cortex-R4-based MCU with features like 12-bit ADC, HET with programmable timer pins, eQEP, MibSPI, and serial communication interfaces. The LaunchPad comes pre-programmed with the Hercules Safety MCU Demo enabling users to easily learn about the key safety, data acquisition, and control features of the Hercules MCU platform.

Setup Guide

Identify the pins
Locate VCC (power), GND (ground), and data pins (SDA/SCL for I2C, MOSI/MISO for SPI, or TX/RX for UART). Refer to the pinout diagram on the product page.

Connect VCC to 3.3V or 5V (check the module spec), GND to GND, and data pins to the appropriate GPIO pins on your Arduino or Raspberry Pi.
